About the Building

Redline.png

Originally built in the late 1920s and early 1930s, The Factor Building is comprised of two warehouse buildings (renovated and combined in 2021) with a combined area of 50,000 square feet. The building construction includes steel structural upgrades, concrete, original old-growth timber, loading docks, and large window bays providing classic industrial workspace and creative industrial office spaces.

The new renovations incorporate a common elevator and stair core in the heart of the building, with multi-story open common areas bathed in natural light for break-out meetings and events. Tenants have the option of either HVAC or operable windows to allow fresh outside airflow.

Connecting the building’s history to our vision for the uses within it, we remember two integral users, The American Can Company and Miller Paint, still operating in the area. The building logo includes the tinner’s hammer and the paintbrush. The name was inspired by the Latin word “Factorem”, meaning “maker” which we hope will attract tenants with grit who are looking to grow their businesses out of recent trying economic times.
